Anxiety, Overthinking, Panic Attacks

This is probably the most common problem that I help clients with (often suffering with low mood as well) and the good news is that you can absolutely change it. I often hear clients say ‘I can’t stop overthinking and even though I know my thoughts aren’t rational, I can’t stop it’. ‘I feel overwhelmed and don’t know how to change it’.

Everyone experiences a certain amount of anxiety at times (I get nervous parking my car in underground car parks, weird I know!) and that’s totally normal but feeling anxious a lot of the time isn’t right and it’s time to change it!

The causes of anxiety and the type of anxiety can really vary from person to person and, in my experience, you can resolve it permanently, rather than develop better coping strategies.

Often people don’t really know what anxiety is so here are some of the symptoms (not an exhaustive list):

  • Feeling agitated

  • Excessive worrying

  • Restlessness

  • Fatigue

  • Difficulty getting to sleep or staying asleep

  • Difficulty concentrating

  • Irritability

During a panic attack, you get a rush of intense mental and physical symptoms:

  • A racing heartbeat

  • Feeling faint

  • Sweating

  • Nausea

  • Chest pain

  • Shortness of breath

  • Trembling

  • Hot flushes

I am very experienced in working with people to resolve anxiety and literally have thousands of hours of doing it. I can explore the root causes of the issue with you and help you to change the thoughts you no longer want to have (and replace them with a more positive outlook and state).
